摘  要:东汉碑刻题名表明立碑者彼此熟悉,他们遵循相应的规则共同立碑,其后有潜在的人际网络。故吏和门生不仅各自为府主或业师立碑,而且也能够突破身份和地域界限,共同刊石纪念主人。地方豪族为维护本地及个人利益,参加长吏的立碑活动,长吏亦有反馈。世族的门生、故吏借助其人际网络以立碑来宣扬主人名望。立碑活动巩固了以豪族为中心的各类社会关系。门生、故吏通过碑刻题名,表达政治旨趣,超越同僚、同学关系,影响了当时的政治生态。东汉时期通过立碑活动构建的人际网络,在一定程度上消解了集权力量。Inscriptions on monuments in the Eastern Han Dynasty suggest the existence of a network of builders familiar with one another and connected by a set of common rules.Former subsidiary officials and disciples not only erect monuments to their superiors or teachers respectively,but also erect monuments to their masters,breaking down barriers of status and region.Local magnates motivated by selfinterest participated in constructing the monuments,and the senior officials also gave feedback.With the help of personal networks,the former subsidiary officials and disciples of the noble families spread their master's fame by erecting monuments.The erection of monuments was a powerful tool for consolidating social relations among the magnates.Inscription on monuments is a way for disciples and former subsidiary officials to express political interests,transcend relations of colleagues or classmates,and influence the existing political landscape.Indeed,the personal relations that followed from the construction of monuments during the Eastern Han proved a counterbalance to centralized power itself.
