摘　　要：太平洋国际学会是一个成立于美国、以亚洲和太平洋为研究对象的跨国学术组织,也是抗战时期中国对外宣传的重要平台。全面抗战爆发后,中国学者通过学会进行民间外交,利用演讲、调查、研究等途径影响美国对华舆论。学会的美国成员也关注中国抗战问题,其研究批评日本侵略,认为中国抗战必胜,尤其肯定中共领导的敌后抗战。学会中、美分会还以非官方外交的形式,推动两国政府在反法西斯战争中的合作与协调。太平洋国际学会所藏中国抗战资料,反映了中国战时外交的多样性与灵活性,也体现了美国对中国持久抗战的现实需求。The Institute of Pacific Relations was an international academic organization based in the United States,and served as one of the channels for China's international publication in the war.After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression,Chinese scholars engaged in people-to-people diplomacy through the institute to influence American public opinion by speeches,publicity and researches.The American members of the institute paid attention to the issues of China's resistance.Their researches not only criticized Japan's aggression but also expressed the belief on China's final victory,especially affirming the resistance on the backstage battlefield led by the Communist Party of China.The Chinese council and the American council of the institute were committed to improving Sino-U.S.cooperation in the anti-fascist war through unofficial diplomacy.The archives of the institute on China's resistance against Japanese aggression reflect the flexibility of China's wartime diplomacy,and the needs and assistance of the United States for China's resistance.
