摘  要:Nanocomposites represent a unique class of materials where the composition,structure and property can be readily regulated by a range of structural parameters and hence have been exploited for diverse applications,such as electrocatalysis and electroanalysis.Fundamentally,understanding the materials structure-activity correlation represents a critical step in the optimization of the materials performance.In this virtual special issue,we highlight some of the latest progress in the field.Fakude et al.surveyed the applications of a variety of materials,such as nanostructures,conducting polymers,and modified electrodes,in the qualitative and quantitative electrocatalytic analysis of a number of drugs of abuse.Yu et al.included a rather comprehensive review of the applications of fullerene-based nanocomposites in the electrocatalysis of several important reactions in electrochemical energy technologies,such as oxygen reduction reaction,oxygen evolution reaction。
