摘  要:Agriculture is the basis for human survival.Agriculture can be roughly divided into three periods by its level of productivity:primitive agriculture,traditional agriculture and modern agriculture.Modern agriculture relies heavily on various technologies such as effective seeds,fertilizers,pesticides,agricultural equipment and irrigation systems.At the turn of the 20th century,the rise of the synthetic ammonia industry greatly promoted the development of the chemical fertilizer industry and provided efficient and economical fertilizers for agriculture.
