摘  要:Plant growth regulators(PGRs)have emerged as vital tools in modern agriculture,contributing significantly to sustainability by increasing crop yields,mitigating environmental stress,and plant biotechnology innovation.For increasing yields,PGRs annually enhance production of 10-15 million tons while reducing reliance on fertilizers and pesticides.1 In terms of mitigating environmental stress,2 the PGR abscisic acid(ABA)improves drought and salinity tolerance in plants by regulating plant growth,nutrient balance and stomatal movement,along with interactions with other hormones.2 As innovative tools and opportunities for plant biotechnology,brassinosteroids hold the potential to regulate various morphological and physiological processes,such as enhancing chloroplast structure,photosynthesis,stomatal movement,and cell vitality.3 The combined effects of these aspects highlight the profound importance and diverse applications of PGRs in plant research and agriculture.4 Therefore,in various domains of agricultural research and plant science,PGRs stand as crucial tools,exemplifying their profound importance and multifaceted applications.
