“可畏的对称”:布莱克诗歌中的“协商”政治美学

摘　　要：伴随着20世纪对英国浪漫主义诗人威廉·布莱克的重新发现,基于政治视角的解读逐步成为布莱克研究的新维度。自该研究视角产生之日起,评论者对布莱克在政治上是激进派还是保守派这一议题就争执不断,且这一立场逐渐成为划分布莱克政治观点研究的分水岭。以前评论家多对布莱克前后期诗歌政治立场的对立性展开评述,殊不知若从布莱克诗歌中关于能量释放的描绘为切入口并对其隐喻进行解读,便可见布莱克前后期诗歌中政治思想上的连贯性和一致性。基于布莱克文本中对平衡感和对称感的强调并对其来源进行阐释,我们便可发现布莱克蕴于诗体中的“协商”政治观即可得到充分的解释,即运用“协商”的手段在秩序与自由之间寻求一种平衡,以实现政体的稳定。Alongside the 20th-century rediscovery of William Blake,a consistent perspective in the study of this British romantic poet has been his political view.Since the beginning,the dispute on whether Blake is politically radical or conservative has caused debates among critics and it has become a watershed in the study of Blake's political views.This question,though much debated among scholars,is however answerable from a contrast of Blake's early and late political views.Taking Blake's descriptions of energy release as the starting point,with juxtaposition of Blake's early and late poetry,we will find consistency in his political view.Actually,a study which focuses on symmetry and balance in his poetry and politics,will be able to fully explain and decipher Blake's politics of negotiation,that is to use a means of negotiation"to seek balance between order and freedom in order to achieve a political system's stability.
