交通改善、市场需求与城市生产率——兼论城市规模的调节效应

摘  要:城市作为资源要素集聚的空间载体,其规模决定了资源要素的分配和利用方式,从而对城市生产率产生影响。交通基础设施改善、市场需求规模增加会加快要素自由流动,促进城市要素集聚,因而有必要进一步探讨交通基础设施、市场需求规模和城市规模对城市生产率的协同影响。为了试图回答上述问题,在Henderson理论模型的基础上,纳入新的参数进行了理论探讨,并结合中国101个不同规模等级城市2015-2021年的平衡面板数据进行了实证检验。结果显示:市场需求规模扩大和交通基础设施改善将显著促进城市生产率的提高,且城市规模在其中发挥了调节作用。异质性分析也表明,城市规模和城市区位也都发挥着重要影响。As a spatial vehicle for the agglomeration of resources and factors,the size of a city determines the way in which resources and factor are allocated and utilized,which in turn has an impact on urban productivity.Improvements in transportation infrastructure and increases in the scale of market demand can accelerate the free flow of factors and promote urban factor agglomeration,thus necessitating further exploration of the synergistic effects of transportation infrastructure,the scale of market demand and the size of the city on urban productivity.In an attempt to answer the above questions,this paper incorporates new parameters for theoretical exploration based on the Henderson theoretical model and empirically tests them with balanced panel data for 101 Chinese cities of different size classes for the period 2015-2021.The results show that an increase in the size of market demand and an improvement in transportation infrastructure will significantly contribute to an increase in urban productivity,and that city size plays a moderating role in this.In the heterogeneity analysis,both city size and city location also play an important role.
