From the sociological perspective, this paper analyzes the problems of morality, ethics, monopoly and capitalization in academic activities in the age of intelligence. It finds that the essence of AI-driven academic activities is characterized by limited and instrumental rational behavior; The abuse of instrumental rationality has aggravated the dogmatic and depersonalizing trends of“academic monopoly”and“academic capitalization”,leading to a crisis for academic individuals marked by the dissolution of the scientific spirit, adecline of independent thinking, and a loss of academic integrity. The development direction of science and technology is intrinsically linked to the fate of humanity.Establishing correct scientific values, developing AI technology that balances functionality with security, and maintaining strict application boundaries will help ensure that science and technology serve the bright future of mankind.
