摘　　要：The year 2025 cou ld see inc reasing pressure on the international supply chain.The change in the U.S.leadership raises fears of further disruption to the global supply chain,as the president-elect boasted of a“universal tariff”of at least 10%during his election campaign.More protectionist measures are on the cards if he follows through on his promise.Regardless of his hostility to globalization,the New York billionaire’s unprecedented victory is a clear indicator that the current international trade architecture is being phased out,if not abandoned.With hopes of reviving the WTO fading,the international community urgently needs a new solution for the fragmented global supply chain.
