摘　　要：《我的安东尼娅》是薇拉·凯瑟的代表作,属她“内布拉斯加小说”系列中艺术成就最高之作。小说以极具地域特色的美国中西部为背景描写了一派人与自然和谐共生的景象,揭示了与工业文明关联的生态问题,主张回归自然以治疗工业社会带来的心灵创伤。薇拉·凯瑟对美丽大草原的描写和对城市生活异常现象的展示有着深刻的工业文明批判意义。从工业文明批判视角解读小说中蕴含的生态思想可为如何处理人与生态环境的关系和建设生态文明带来一定的反思和启示。As Willa Cather’s masterpiece,My Antonia may be the work with highest art achievement in her“Nebraska Fiction”series.Set in American Midwest which is filled with highly regional characteristics,the novel depicts a picture of harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature,reveals the ecological problem related to industrial civilization and advocates returning to nature to treat emotional trauma brought about by the industrialized society.Willa Cather’s depiction of the beautiful prairie and her display of the abnormal lives in cities contain profound significance of criticizing industrial civilization.Interpreting the novel to reveal its ecological thought from the perspective of industrial civilization can bring us some beneficial reflection and enlightenment in terms of how to handle the relationship between humanity and ecological environment and construct ecological civilization.
