The theory of "two yang junctions are called elimination" is one of the core mechanisms of type 2 diabetes.Modern studies have confirmed that type 2 diabetes is associated with intestinal dysbiosis. The chronic inflammatory response and impaired intestinal barrier mediated by intestinal dysbiosis are highly compatible with the state of internal heat and qi deficiency caused by type 2 diabetes mellitus, which verifies the biological basis of the disease mechanism of "two yang junctions are called elimination",and provides new perspectives for exploring its theoretical connotations. Therefore,by exploring the correlation between the mechanism of intestinal flora and the theory of type 2 diabetes mellitus,we can enrich the theoretical implications of "two yang junctions are called elimination",establish the treatment method of clearing heat and dispersing junction, benefiting qi and replenishing deficiency, and provide references for the treatment of type2 diabetes mellitus from the theory of "two yang junctions are called elimination".
