摘　　要：为探索城镇化进程中城镇居民养老制度发展对带动消费增长的作用,从城镇化水平和城镇居民养老保险覆盖率两个维度出发,构建了居民消费结构升级的理论分析框架,利用双向固定效应模型对该效应及其异质性进行实证检验。研究结果表明,一方面,提高新型城镇化水平和扩大养老保险覆盖率有利于居民消费结构升级;另一方面,城镇化水平的提升对东部地区居民消费结构升级有显著正向影响,对西部地区的影响不显著,养老保险覆盖率对中部和东部地区居民消费升级的影响更显著。随着新型城镇化水平的提高、城镇居民养老保险覆盖率的扩大,将会加快居民消费结构升级。In order to explore the role of the development of urban residents’pension system in driving consumption growth in the process of urbanization,this paper constructs a theoretical analysis framework for the upgrading of residents’consumption structure from the two dimensions:the level of urbanization and the coverage of urban residents’pension insurance.A dual fixed-effect model is employed to empirically test the effects and their heterogeneity.The results show that,on the one hand,improving the new-type urbanization level and expanding the coverage rate of old-age insurance are conducive to the upgrading of residents’consumption structure.On the other hand,the urbanization level has a significant effect on the upgrading of residents’consumption structure in the eastern region,but not in the western region,while the pension insurance coverage rate has a more significant effect on the upgrading of residents’consumption in the central and eastern regions.With the improvement of the new urbanization level,the expansion of urban residents’pension insurance coverage will accelerate the upgrading of residents’consumption structure.
