氧化铒掺杂对粉煤灰基堇青石陶瓷性能的影响

摘  要:以粉煤灰、滑石、氧化铝和氧化镁为原料,分别添加质量分数为0、0.5%和1.0%的氧化铒,采用高温固相烧结制备堇青石陶瓷。研究了氧化铒的掺入对堇青石陶瓷物相组成、显微结构和性能的影响。结果表明:Er_(2)O_(3)的掺入可促进堇青石相的生成,且掺入0.5wt.%Er_(2)O_(3)时效果最佳。其通过在低温时形成液相,提高液相中Mg^(2+)和Al^(3+)的迁移速率,以促进反应生成堇青石,从而提高堇青石的转化效率。当Er_(2)O_(3)掺入量为0.5 wt.%时,在1300℃烧结温度下,试样物相组成较纯净,杂质相较少,晶型较完整,晶粒无异常长大。在1300℃烧结温度下,掺入0.5 wt.%Er_(2)O_(3)试样体积密度为2.095 g·cm^(-3),显气孔率和吸水率分别为14.86%和7.09%;掺入0.5 wt.%Er_(2)O_(3)试样压缩强度达到149 MPa,较未掺杂试样提高了230%。研究证实,氧化铒作为烧结助剂可明显改善堇青石陶瓷的综合性能。In this work,cordierite ceramics were prepared by using high-temperature solid-state reaction method,while fly ash,talc,alumina and magnesium oxide were used as raw materials and erbium oxide(Er_(2)O_(3))was employed as dopant with mass contents of 0,0.5%and 1.0%.The effects of erbium oxide on phase composition,microstructure and physical properties of the cordierite ceramics were studied.Firstly,the doping of Er_(2)O_(3) promoted the phase formation of cordierite.The optimal doping content is 0.5 wt.%Er_(2)O_(3).The conversion efficiency of cordierite was increased by forming a liquid phase at low temperatures,thus leading increase in the migration rates of Mg^(2+)and Al^(3+).Secondly,with 0.5 wt.%Er_(2)O_(3),after sintering at 1300℃,the specimens had single phases,complete crystallization,suitable grain orientation and absence of abnormal grain growth.Lastly,the optimized sample had bulk density of 2.095 g·cm^(-3),with the apparent porosity and water absorption rate to be 14.86%and 7.09%,respectively.Meanwhile,the compressive strength was 149 MPa,which was 230%higher than that of the undoped specimen.It is confirmed that Er_(2)O_(3) is a promising sintering aid to significantly improve the comprehensive performance of cordierite ceramics.
