居住模式、社会网络与老年人生活质量——基于CHARLS追踪调查的实证分析

摘　　要：基于中国健康与养老追踪调查(CHARLS)的微观数据,构建了城乡老年人生活质量的多维指标,并实证检验了居住模式的影响以及社会网络调节效应。研究发现:居住模式显著影响城乡老年人生活质量,居住模式由独自居住转变为与子女同住时,城乡老年人身体健康提升、抑郁程度下降和生活满意度提升的概率分别约为2.5%、1.6%和1.5%,女性老年人、农村居民以及无配偶老年人受到的影响更大。社会网络对居住模式影响城乡老年人生活质量具有显著的调节作用,无论是独居模式还是合居状态,社会网络均表现为正向的辅助作用。Based on the micro data from the China Health and Elderly Care Tracking Survey(CHARLS),a multidimensional indicator of the quality of life for elderly individuals in urban and rural areas was developed.The study investigated the impact of residential patterns and the moderating effect of social networks on the quality of life of elderly individuals.The research findings indicate that living patterns have a significant influence on the quality of life of elderly individuals in both urban and rural settings.Transitioning from living alone to living with children results in a 2.5%increase in physical health,a 1.6%decrease in depression levels,and a 1.5%improvement in life satisfaction for elderly individuals in urban and rural areas.Female elderly individuals,rural residents,and those without spouses are found to be more affected by these changes.Furthermore,social networks may significantly moderate the impact of living patterns on the life quality of the elderly individuals in both urban and rural areas.Regardless of living arrangements,social networks play a positive role in enhancing the well-being of elderly individuals.Overall,the study sheds light on the effects and mechanisms of residential patterns on the life quality of the elderly individuals in urban and rural areas,providing valuable empirical evidence for the development of high-quality,elderly-friendly living environments.
