摘　　要：“图像时代”的概念,不待海德格尔提出,自古便已存在。由于地理位置和习俗传统等原因,潮汕红桃粿与民俗、民风、民众的生产生活密切相关。其颜色、造型以及图像符号都具有丰富而多元的涵义。对纹样语义的分析、艺术特征的把握、图形符号的提炼,共同构成图像意义建构的完整过程。红桃粿的民俗文化属性通过非文字的形式表达,传递出旧时潮汕人民对健康长寿、多子多福、美好生活的祈愿。The concept of the'Age of Images'has a long history,even predating Heidegger's proposal of the term.The geographical location and customary traditions of Teochew Red Peach Kueh are closely associated with folklore,folk customs and the local populace's way of life.The colours,shapes and pictorial symbols are imbued with a rich and diverse array of meanings.The construction of meaning in images requires an analysis of the semantics of patterns,an understanding of the artistic characteristics,and a refinement of the graphic symbols.The folk cultural attributes of the Teochew Red Peach Kueh are expressed through non-literal forms,conveying the traditional beliefs and aspirations of the local people.Such prayers include those for longevity,fertility,and a better life.
