基于惯性摩擦焊接的大口径炮弹弹体毛坯制造工艺研究

摘  要:针对大口径炮弹弹体毛坯采用整体热冲拔工艺生产存在材料利用率低、生产效率低和生产成本高的问题,提出一种分段设计并采用惯性摩擦焊接方法焊接弹体毛坯的新工艺。通过该工艺,可以将弹体毛坯的各个分段分别锻造,使用惯性摩擦焊接方法将各分段焊接得到整体式弹体毛坯。焊后,对焊缝进行了拉伸、冲击、金相和扫描电镜等检测。检测结果显示:焊接区的宽度仅为0.6 mm,且晶粒细化;对焊接头热处理后,焊接区的组织和母材已经同质化,热处理后的焊接头抗拉强度为1198.4 MPa,相当于热处理后母材强度的93.5%。冲击功为233 J/mm 2,冲击韧性高于母材。试验结果表明:使用惯性摩擦焊接方法焊接弹体毛坯仅需120 s,并且焊接头的连接强度满足使用需求。与将整体毛坯进行热冲拔相比,采用分段热冲拔的弹体毛坯制造方法可以极大地降低锻造难度、缩短锻造时间,从而提高毛坯的生产效率并降低生产成本。In response to the issues of low material utilization,low production efficiency,and high production costs in the production of large caliber projectile body blanks using the integral hot upsetting process,a new process is proposed for segmental design and inertia friction welding of projectile body blanks.With this process,each segment of the projectile body blank is forged separately and then welded together using the inertia friction welding method to obtain an integral projectile body blank.After welding,the weld joints were subjected to tensile,impact,metallographic,and scanning electron microscopy(SEM)tests.The test results revealed that the width of the welded zone was only 0.6 mm,with grain refinement observed.After heat treatment of the welded joints,the microstructure of the weld zone became homogenous with the base material.The tensile strength of the heat-treated welded joints was 1198.4 MPa,equivalent to 93.5%of the strength of the heat-treated base material.The impact energy was 233 J/mm 2,indicating higher toughness than the base material.The experimental results demonstrate that the inertia friction welding method can weld the projectile body blanks in just 120 seconds,and the connection strength of the weld joints meets the requirements for use.Compared to integral hot upsetting of the blanks,the segmented hot upsetting method for manufacturing projectile body blanks can greatly reduce the forging difficulty,shorten the forging time,improve the production efficiency of the blanks,and reduce production costs,metallography.
