欧洲日本研究的开放、流动与啮合——对EAJS的知识社会学考察

摘　　要：欧洲日本研究学会(EAJS)堪称全世界日本研究领域规模最大的学术团体,也是透视战后欧洲日本研究整体发展轨迹的一个重要切口。每三年举行一次的国际大会是EAJS最主要的活动,其分科设置生动地反映出欧洲日本研究从传统“日本学”向“日本研究”演进的四个特点:学科的覆盖面和规模效应日益突出、现代意义上的社会科学渐居主流、分化组合下新的学科增长点次第涌现、跨学科研究方兴未艾。在EAJS的推动下,欧洲日本研究的机制建设和网络拓展稳步向前。欧洲各国自身日本研究的机制化发展不仅与EAJS嵌套和啮合,而且与日本、美国等域外行为体有机互动。开放、包容、多元是EAJS以及更宽泛意义上欧洲日本研究的基本特征,促进了欧洲域内乃至全球范围日本研究的流动和交错,也是其逆境蝶变的原因所在。The European Association for Japanese Studies(EAJS)is the largest academic organization in the field of Japan Studies globally and serves as a critical lens for examining the overall trajectory of postwar Japan Studies in Europe.The triennial international conference,the cornerstone of EAJS activities,provides a vivid reflection of the field's evolution from traditional"Japanology"to contemporary"Japan Studies"characterized by four key trends:expanding disciplinary coverage and increasing scale effects;the growing dominance of modern social sciences;the emergence of new disciplinary growth points through differentiation and recombination;the flourishing of interdisciplinary research initiatives.Under the guidance of EAJS,the institutional development and network expansion of Japan Studies in Europe have progressed steadily.The institutionalization of Japan Studies in individual European countries not only integrates seamlessly with EAJS but also engages organically with external actors such as Japan and the United States.Openness,inclusivity,and diversity are defining characteristics of EAJS and European Japan Studies more broadly.These features have facilitated dynamic flows and intersections of Japan Studies across Europe and on a global scale,providing the field with resilience and adaptability in the face of challenges.This paper highlights EAJS's pivotal role in fostering the collaborative and transnational nature of contemporary Japan Studies.
