摘　　要：本文对北京大学图书馆收藏的94封张元济致夏曾佑信札进行整理并考释,信札时间集中于1897—1906年,除其中1封外,其余均未收入《张元济全集》。这94封信札的内容包括夏曾佑在商务印书馆出版《中国历史教科书》的经过、严复若干种译著的翻译及出版的相关史实,以及张元济办学堂、在南洋公学译书院及商务印书馆的出版事业等。本文附录了10封商务印书馆编译所、印刷所致夏曾佑信,以及1封李提摩太致张元济信,这些信是对张元济致夏曾佑信札内容的补充。This article organizes and studies 94 letters from Zhang Yuanji to Xia Zengyou,which are housed in the Peking University Library.The letters,dating from 1897 to 1906,have not been included in Complete Works of Zhang Yuanji,except for one.They are about the process of Xia Zengyou's publishing The History of China at The Commercial Press,historical details related to Yan Fu's various translation works and their publication,Zhang Yuanji's involvement in educational initiatives,and his publishing activities at the Translation Institution of Nanyang University and The Commercial Press.The appendix includes 10 letters from the Compilation and Translation Office and the Printing Office of The Commercial Press to Xia Zengyou,as well as one letter from Timothy Richard to Zhang Yuanji.These letters serve as supplementary materials to Zhang Yuanji's correspondence with Xia Zengyou.
