摘　　要：由张志强教授翻译,周启荣教授所著的《中国前近代的出版、文化与权力:16—17世纪》于2023年问世,该书跳出传统出版史研究的桎梏,系统运用新文化史理论,从中国前近代的出版活动切入,深入解析当时的经济、文化与权力,揭示了出版对晚明清初社会产生的不可忽视的影响,扩展了出版史和书籍史研究的路径与视域。此书是近年来较为难得的一部研究中国前近代出版史的力作,内容兼具广度与深度,有鲜明的前沿意识及可读性。Translated by Professor Zhang Zhiqiang and authored by Professor Zhou Qirong,Publishing,Culture and Power in Early Modern China was published in 2023.This book breaks away from the traditional confines of publishing history research by systematically applying new cultural history theories.It delves into the economic,cultural,and power dynamics of the time through examining early modern Chinese publishing activities.It reveals the significant influence of publishing on late Ming and early Qing society,and broadens the approach and scope of publishing history and book history.It is a rare and exceptional contribution to the study of early modern Chinese publishing history in recent years,offering both breadth and depth,with a strong sense of cutting-edge scholarship and readability.
