摘　　要：地名作为反映地域特色的文化符号和地理标志,具有丰富的文化属性。传统的地名分类方式在分类的客观性、系统性、精准性以及解释地名的文化含义时存在一定的局限性。为全面理解并挖掘地名蕴含的文化属性,该文以泉州市9417个村落地名为例,应用扎根理论探索构建了一套新的地名分类方法。研究表明:该方法可以切实解决地名受到方言、专名和一字多义等因素影响所导致的分类解释不唯一、分类结果不准确等问题,提升地名分类结果的科学性与准确性。同时,在空间特征研究分析中亦指出,自然类要素的地名主要集中于平原地区;地理特征类地名随高程的增加而更为聚集;姓氏类地名集中于平原地区中的临海区域;其他类别的地名则集中于地形地貌复杂多变的区域。研究结果为地名的分类方法提供了一条新的值得探讨的方法路径,也为下一步对地名产生与演化机制的研究提供了科学方法支撑。As a cultural symbol reflecting regional characteristics and geographical indications,place names possess rich cultural attributes.Traditional methods of place naming classification have certain limitations in terms of objectivity,systematicity,precision,and interpretation of the cultural meanings embedded in place names.In order to comprehensively understand and explore the cultural attributes inherent in place names,this study takes 9417 village names in Quanzhou City as an example and applies Grounded Theory to explore and construct a new method of place name classification.The research indicates that this method effectively addresses the issues of non-uniqueness and inaccuracy in classification interpretation caused by factors such as dialects,proper nouns,and polysemy,thereby enhancing the scientificity and accuracy of place name classification results.Furthermore,spatial feature analysis reveals that names of natural features are mainly concentrated in plain areas,while names of geographical features tend to aggregate with increasing elevation.Surnames-based place names are concentrated in the coastal areas within plain regions,while other categories of place names are concentrated in regions with complex and varied topography.The findings provide a new and valuable methodological approach for place naming classification,and offer scientific methodological support for further research on the mechanisms of place name generation and evolution.
