How Can News Be“Gamified”:The Practical Logics and Boundary Adjustment of News Gamification in The Digital Era

摘  要:全球新闻业面向数字化的深度转型,为数字新闻叙事变革创造了全新空间。“游戏化”作为一种全新叙事观念的兴起,日益表现出改造数字信息生态的可能潜力,并在与数字新闻业逐渐深入的结合中形成新闻游戏化叙事的创新趋势。本文结合对全球新闻业典型案例的分析,归纳了以不断增进连接效能为核心目标、以深度体验化、协作开放化和关系内容化等为基本特征的新闻游戏化实践逻辑。但这种以连接为中心的叙事实践,同样可能加剧新闻游戏化的创新风险。本文也进一步反思了连接的风险性带来创新边界的模糊性问题,提出以公共情感调适情感化叙事、以建设性参与调适介入性叙事、以叙事规范调适社区化叙事的边界调适策略,以期在“游戏性”和“新闻性”之间探寻新闻游戏化创新重构数字新闻文化的可能空间。The profound transformation of the global journalism industry towards digitalization has created new spaces for the evolution of digital news narrative.The emergence of"gamification"as a novel narrative concept increasingly demonstrates the potential to reshape the digital information ecosystem and is forming an innovative trend of news gamification narrative through its deepening integration with the digital journalism industry.This paper,combining an analysis of typical cases in the global news industry,summarizes the practical logic of news gamification aimed at continuously enhancing connectivity and characterized by deep experientialization,opening collaboration,and relational contentization.However,this connection-centered narrative practice may also exacerbate the risks of innovation in news gamification.The paper further reflects on the issues of blurred innovation boundaries brought about by the risks of connectivity,proposing strategies for boundary adjustment such as public emotion moderation for emotionalized narratives,constructive participation moderation for participatory narratives,and narrative norm moderation for community narratives,in order to explore the potential space for news gamification to innovatively reconstruct digital news culture between“gamefulness”and“newsworthiness”.
