加拿大萨斯喀彻温省国际教育战略:举措、特征与挑战

摘  要:为推动教育产业逆势复苏、社会经济发展,加拿大萨斯喀彻温省于2022年颁布国际教育战略,确立国际教育发展的核心内容,包括扩大省内学生参加海外学习和工作的机会,加大对国际学生学习和生活的支持力度,加大对国际教育品牌的宣传力度,提升全球贸易市场参与度,推动建立国际研究伙伴关系框架。该国际教育战略具有注重学生的多元发展、多方协调合作和可持续发展等特征。尽管已经建立较发达的国际教育体系,萨斯喀彻温省的国际教育发展仍面临着竞争激烈、缺少省级国际教育评价系统、国际教育的教学模式较单一等挑战。To promote the recovery of the education industry and socio-economic development,the Province of Saskatchewan enacted its International Education Strategy in 2022,establishing key priorities for the future development of international education in Saskatchewan.These include expanding opportunities for local students to study and work abroad,enhancing support for international students’academic and living experiences,enhancing the promotion of the international education brand,boosting the province’s participation in the global trade market,and fostering the establishment of international research partnership frameworks.The strategy is characterized by its emphasis on the diversified development of students,multi-stakeholder coordination and cooperation,and sustainability.Despite the establishment of a relatively advanced international education system,Saskatchewan’s international education sector still faces challenges such as intense competition,the lack of a provincial system for evaluating international education,and a limited range of teaching models in international education.
