摘　　要：类胡萝卜素是一类微量营养素,普遍存在于真菌、藻类以及植物体内,同时也是畜禽体内维生素A的重要来源,因其具有抗氧化、调节机体免疫以及改善畜禽产品品质等功效而被作为新型绿色饲料添加剂广泛应用于畜禽生产中。通过简述类胡萝卜素的分类、吸收代谢途径以及生物活性功能,着重介绍了其在畜禽生产中的最新研究进展,以期为类胡萝卜素在畜禽养殖实践中的应用提供依据和参考。As a kind of micronutrient,carotenoid is universally seen in fungi,algae,and plants.It is also a vital source of vitamin A for both livestock and poultry.Due to its outstanding performances in antioxidation,organism immunity regulation,and livestock&poultry product quality improvement,carotenoid has been extensively used in livestock and poultry production as a novel green feed additive.In this paper,a brief introduction is given to classification,absorption and metabolism pathways,and bioactive functionality of carotenoid,with emphasis on the latest researches progresses about its application in livestock and poultry production.This study is expected to shed some light on the practical application of carotenoid in livestock and poultry production.
