合作原则视角下《初来乍到》的言语幽默研究

摘　　要：幽默作为一种特殊的言语交际,是语用学研究的重要课题。美国情景喜剧《初来乍到》因其简短、幽默和跨文化等特点,深受广大观众喜爱。选取《初来乍到》第一季为研究语料,以格赖斯的合作原则为理论框架,通过对剧中人物对话进行定性分析,探究情景喜剧中违反合作原则如何实现言语幽默的效果,其对剧中人物塑造的作用,并揭示违反合作原则的根本原因,以期丰富合作原则指导下的幽默研究,同时为提高语言交际能力,实现和谐的跨文化交际做出一定贡献。Humor,a special kind of verbal communication,is an important topic in pragmatics.The American sitcom“Fresh off the Boat”is popular because of its brevity,humor and cross-cultural characteristics.Taking the first season of Fresh off the Boat as the research corpus,this study analyzes some humorous dialogues based on the Cooperative Principle proposed by Grace.It attempts to explore how the violation of Cooperative Principle achieves humor effect,how it contributes to the portrayal of characters and to reveal the reasons for principle’s violation.It expects to enrich the studies of verbal humor and contribute to the improvement of communication skills and the realization of cross-cultural communication.
