磁场辅助气雾在金属切削时的冷却润滑性能研究

摘  要:为了突破传统油基气雾在加工难切削材料时冷却润滑性能不足的局限,提出磁场辅助微量润滑(magnetic assisted minimum quantity lubrication,mMQL)新技术;构建mMQL加工系统,配制四氧化三铁纳米流体切削液,分析不同磁感应强度对纳米流体接触角、表面张力和动力黏度的影响,并对比考察mMQL的加工性能。结果表明:磁场影响下液滴的渗透性和换热能力有效提升;与传统植物油气雾润滑相比,四氧化三铁纳米流体mMQL应用于430不锈钢车削加工时的切削温度、刀具磨损量和切削力分别降低了约35.5%、52.4%和43.2%。在mMQL加工过程中,磁化后的液滴容易渗透进入刀具与切屑和工件接触区的毛细微缝中充分铺展,表现出良好的润滑和蒸发换热能力,最终呈现出较好的加工性能。A novel technology called magnetic assisted minimum quantity lubrication(mMQL)was developed to overcome the technical limitations of insufficient cooling and lubrication performance of traditional oil-based minimum quantity lubrication in the machining of hard-to-cut materials.mMQL machining system was constructed,and Fe 3O 4 nanofluid was prepared as cutting fluid.The effects of different magnetic induction on the contact angle,surface tension and dynamic viscosity of the nanofluid were analyzed.The machining performance of mMQL were comparatively investigated.The results show that the penetrability and heat transfer capacity of the nanofluid droplets are improved under the influence of magnetic field.Compared with traditional vegetable oil MQL,the cutting temperature,tool wear and cutting force of the nanofluid mMQL applied to 430 stainless steel turning are reduced by about 35.5%,52.4%and 43.2%,respectively.During mMQL machining,the magnetized droplets easily penetrate into the friction capillary cracks in the contact region of tool-chip and tool-workpiece and spread out fully,showing better lubrication and evaporative heat transfer capabilities,and finally presenting better machining performance.
