摘　　要：由美国著名在线教育质量保证机构Quality Matters(QM)和高等教育研究咨询公司Eduventures Research联合发布的《美国在线教育发展全景报告》,从美国高等教育管理视角全景式地调查了不同层次高等教育机构在线教育的现状、影响和发展趋势。报告数据源于各样本高校首席信息官,其视角可以为人们了解美国在线教育的发展与趋势提供直观的认识。以2023年推出的《美国在线教育发展全景报告》(第8版)(CHLOE8)为基础,分析并梳理了美国近年来在线教育的发展动态及走向,有助于对世界在线高等教育的主要趋势和关键挑战作出预判,为中国在线高等教育的创新变革提供参考和启示。The Changing Landscape of Online Education Report,presented by Quality Matters(QM),a well-known online edu-cation quality assurance agency in United States,and EduVentures Research,a higher education research and consulting company,in-vestigates the current situation,impact and development trends of online education in dfferent levels of higher education institutions from the perspective of United States higher education management.The data of the report is derived from the chief online officers(COO)of each sample of universities,and their perspectives can provide an intuitive understanding of the development and trends of online education in United States.Based on the Changing Landscape of Online Education Report 8(CHLOE 8)released in 2023,this paper analyzes the landscape and trends of online education in the United States in recent years.This provides valuable insights into the major trends and key challenges in global higher online education and inspirations for the innovations and transformations of higher on-line education in China.
