“空巢”不失“乐”:代际经济支持对农村空巢老年人心理健康的影响

摘　　要：文章基于2015-2020年中国健康与养老追踪调查(CHARLS)数据,采用OLS模型、中介效应模型实证研究了代际经济支持对农村空巢老年人心理健康的影响及作用机制。研究发现,代际经济支持显著改善了农村空巢老年人的心理健康状况,并且子女对老年人“向上”经济支持的作用更为显著;社交活动参与在这一过程中发挥机制作用;经济支持对不同性别、不同年龄段农村空巢老年人心理健康的影响具有显著差异性。“向上”经济支持对男性和中高龄组老人健康的促进作用更大,“向下”经济支持仅对女性和低龄组老人的心理健康表现出显著正向效应。Based on the data of China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Survey(CHARLS)from 2015 to 2020,this paper uses OLS model and mediating effect model to empirically study the impact and mechanism of intergenerational economic support on the mental health of empty-nesters in rural areas.The results show that intergenerational economic support significantly improves the mental health status of rural empty-nesters,and children’s“upward”economic support for the elderly is more significant.Social participation plays a mechanism role in this process;The effects of economic support on the mental health of rural empty-nesters in different genders and different ages are significantly different.“Upward”economic support has a greater promoting effect on the health of men and the middle-aged and elderly,while“downward”economic support from the elderly to their children only has a significant inhibitory effect on the risk of depression in women and young elderly.
