北京大学外国语学院图书馆藏张礼千赠书述略

摘　　要：张礼千作为杰出的早期南亚研究学者及北京大学东方语言文学系教授,其学术贡献与个人藏书对学术界具有重要意义。北京大学外国语学院图书馆收藏张礼千赠书1091册。赠书以线装古籍为主,保存完好,版本类别丰富,是研究张礼千独一无二的宝贵资料,具有较高的文献价值和学术研究价值。整理张礼千赠书,从藏书角度补充其生平事迹、了解其学术志趣,可以更全面地理解张礼千的学术生涯及其对南亚研究领域的贡献。Zhang Liqian,a prominent early scholar of South Asian studies and professor at the Department of Oriental Languages,Peking University,made significant academic contributions and his personal collection holds considerable importance for the academic community.The Library of the School of Foreign Languages at Peking University houses 1091 volumes donated by Zhang Liqian.These donations primarily consist of well-preserved thread-bound classical texts,which are diverse in editions and types.They serve as invaluable and unique resources for studying Zhang Liqian,offering substantial documentary and academic research value.Organizing and studying Zhang Liqian's donated books from the perspective of his personal collection can supplement our knowledge of his life and work,help us understand his academic interests,and provide a more comprehensive insight into his academic career and contributions tothe fieldof SouthAsian studies.
