以一流应用型高校为建设目标的民办高校发展困境与路径选择

摘　　要：民办高校经过大扩招时期的发展,已基本逐渐从外延式扩张走向内涵式提升的发展道路,在应用型高校转型的背景下,民办高校如何在众多新建地方院校的激烈竞争中突出重围,以一流应用型高校为建设目标,为区域经济发展培养一流应用型人才,开展高质量应用研发是其必然选择。面对一流应用型建设目标,民办高校还存在着高质量人才培养路径没有打通、高质量双师队伍建设存在短板、高质量应用研发亟待加强等问题,需要学校在学科专业布局优化、人才培养模式重构、开展有组织应用研发等方面取得改革突破。Following a period of extensive growth,private universities are now transitioning from a focus on external expansion to an emphasis on enhancing their core competencies.Amidst the shift towards application-oriented universities,these institutions must find ways to distinguish themselves in a competitive landscape filled with newly established peers.The challenge is to cultivate top-tier,application-oriented talent and conduct high-quality applied research that fuels regional economic growth,all while aiming to establish themselves as premier applied universities.Despite the ambitious goal of becoming first-class applied institutions,private universities continue to grapple with issues such as fragmented pathways in high-quality talent development,deficiencies in building high-caliber dual-teacher teams,and an urgent need to bolster high-quality applied research capabilities.To break through these challenges,private universities must drive transformative reforms in the optimization of their academic programs,the re-envisioning of talent cultivation models,and the organization of targeted applied research and development efforts.
