摘　　要：本文论述了《北京旅游图集》的编制意义、编制原则、设计特点和方法。该图集的设计与编制突破了旅游地图只有平面地图的单调表示方法，力求做到科学性、知识性 艺术性和实用性的统一，它的最大特点是：1）该图集是以旅游地图为主，配合照片 图表 文字说明和地名索引，全面系统地反映北京旅游区总貌与特征的区域性综合图集，16开本，以中、英两种文宇出版发行。2）旅游景点图突出反映景点同自然环境的关系。根据不同旅游景点的自然与人文景观特点，分别采用航空遥感图 透视写景图、地貌晕渲图、鸟瞰图和素描图等，在二维平面地图上表示三维的现象，使表示在平面地图上的要素产生立体效果，使之具有强烈的真实感。3）以深入浅出的文字说明，简要的介绍各名胜景点的形成与历史，阐明其特色与观赏价值，以增长旅游者的知识和兴趣。4）每景点均配有反映该景点特色的彩色照片，清晰直观，情景一体，可帮助旅游者一览全貌。: This paper discusses the principle of the design, the charact significance eristics and method of the compilation of the 'Tourist Atlas of Beijing' The design and com pilation of this Atlas breaks the conventional way of map representation of the kind for the 'purpose of achieving an integration of1 science, artistry, knowledge and application The features are as follows 1 It is a regional integrated tourist atlas consisting of photographs, tables, picture Captions and an index of toponym, which systematically and comprehensively reflects the landscape and characteristics of scenic spots in Beiung The Atlas was published both in Chinese and English 2 The maps of tourisrt scenic spots reflected ifie relationship between thfc tourist scenic spots and the natural environment Based upon the different features of natural and human landscape of the tourist scenic splots, the Atlas expresses the three dimensional phenomena on two dimensional planes with the aid of aerial remote sensing images, perspective drawing, geomorphological shading map, bird's-eye perspective and sketch maps The elements on the plane maps have the stereo effect and a strong sense of truthfulness was shown 3 The captions briefly introduce the history of each spot and expound their char acters and the ornamental value for the purpose of widening the tourists scope of knowl edge and enhancing their Interest 4 Colour pictures are provided for each scenic spot in order to reflect their res pective features The pictures are clearly discernable, directly perceivable and provide a clear depiction and an overall picture of the places
