摘　　要：叙述CRT技术的最新进展 ,表明CRT虽然是技术成熟的器件 ,但它的技术仍在不断地发展。CRT与平板显示器相比工作性能仍占优势。工作原理相对简单 ,价格相对低廉 ,因此从性能价格比的角度看 ,CRT的生存期并不像有些人所说的那样指日可待 ,而是在遥远的将来。The recent technological improvements of CRT are described. It indicates that CRT although is a mature device,but is a moving target,new technologies are continuously introduced;on the other hand,the cost of CRT due to its principle of operation and simple structure is still the best among all of the display devices.So the replacement of CRT by FPD especially in the TV field still has a long way to go instead of within the near future as forecasted by FPD experts or scientists.
