On the Climatology of Tropical Cyclones Affecting Qingyuan over the Past 54 Years and Characteristics of Circulation Patterns

摘  要:利用清远7个气象观测站的1957—2010年历史气象资料和NCEP/NCAR 2.5°×2.5°再分析资料,对影响清远热带气旋(TC)的气候特征及其成因进行分析。结果表明:TC影响异常偏多年份,7—9月200 h Pa南亚高压偏强,高空辐散的抽吸作用对登陆台风低压的垂直运动和低空辐合上升运动有正贡献;500 h Pa副高主体呈带状,TC受副热带高压南侧东南气流操纵,向西北方向移动,常在广东沿海登陆;850 h Pa西南季风强盛,中低层的水汽输送明显增加,从而使台风低压环流在陆上维持或强度减弱缓慢。无TC影响年份500 h Pa副高呈方块状,面积宽广,南海和西太平洋受副热带高压控制,不利于TC生成。With historical data of seven meteorological observation stations in Qingyuan in 1957-2010 and NCEP / NCAR 2. 5 × 2. 5 reanalysis,we studied the climatological characteristics of the tropical cyclones affecting Qingyuan and their causation. The result is shown as follows. In the years of anomalously more TC influence,a South Asian high is anomalously strong at 200 h Pa in July-September,sucking upper-level divergence contributes positively to the vertical motion of low pressure of landfalling typhoons and the ascending motion of low-level convergence. At 500 h Pa,the subtropical high was stripe-shaped so that the TC is steered by the southeasterly airflow to its south to move to the northwest and( usually) make landfall on the coast of Guangdong. At 850 h Pa,the southwest monsoon prevailed and water vapor transport was increased significantly at the middle and lower levels to maintain the low pressure system of TC over land or slow down the decrease of its intensity. In the years of no TC effect,the 500-h Pa subtropical high was block-shaped and had an extensive coverage,making the South China Sea and western Pacific controlled by the subtropical high,which was unfavorable for the TC genesis.
