摘 要:斯特凡·格奥尔格是20世纪初德国思想史上承上启下的重要人物,自我指涉是其诗学的核心:古典的缪斯不再是灵感的来源,而只是现代诗人自我加冕为王的见证者;基督教的天使不过是诗人的另一个自我,诗人传播教育之爱欲的福音,并以此组建以师徒关系为核心的精英秘社;“新神”马克西敏由格奥尔格一手缔造,他将引领青年在乱世的废墟上建立“新帝国”。缪斯、天使、马克西敏这三个贯穿格奥尔格作品始终的神性化身无一不由诗人缔造,并对应着其作为王者、导师和先知的三重身份。Stefan George was an important figure in the early 20th-century German intellectual history,with self-reference at the core of his poetics.That is,the ancient muse is no longer the source of inspiration,but only a witness to the modern poet’s self-crowning;the Christian angel is no more than the poet’s alter ego,spreading gospel of educational eros in order to form a secret society of elites centered on the relationship of master and disciples;Maximin is the“New God”created by George himself,who will lead the youth to build a“New Reich”on the ruins of a chaotic world.Muse,angel and Maximin,the three incarnations of divinity that run through George’s work,are all crafted by the poet himself,corresponding to George’s triple identity as king,mentor and prophet.
