摘　　要：蒙夏之間關係復雜,許多問题仍待澄清。學界此前認爲成吉思汗“五次”御駕親征西夏,道應是對《太祖本紀》的誤讀。重新檢討1209年至1210年蒙夏戰爭後達成的議和,西夏在徙征問题上其實持有保留條件;而数年後成吉思汗於西征前夕要求西夏遣軍從征,實屬違背協議的加馬之舉。蒙古滅夏由多重因素促成,西夏與金、宋以至高麗诸政槿之間互動的複雜情势化應是重要緣由。西夏末主終向蒙古投誠,成吉思汗御違背約定将其處死,史料記載有所差異,解讀這些差異可分辨出当日歷史述的背景。通過梳理東、西方主要史料文献對西夏的記載,或可觀察到西夏之於蒙古高原和中原的不同地位與角色意羲。The relationship between the Mongols and the Western Xia regime is complicated,and many important issues still need to be further discussed.Scholars previously believed that Genghis Khan personally led his army into the Western Xia for five times,which was a misinterpretation of the"Annals of Emperor Taizu(太祖本紀)".Reviewing the settlement between the Mongols and the Western Xia regime after the war 1209一1210,the Western Xia actually held reservations on the issue of conscription.And several years later,Genghis Khan demanded the Western Xia send troops to join the Mongols on the eve of the First Western Expedition,which was an additional obligation in violation of the agreement.The destruction of the Western Xia was caused by multiple factors,and the complicated changes in the interaction between the Western Xia,the Jin,the Southern Song,and even the Goryeo regimes should be an important reason.The Last Emperor of the Western Xia finally surrendered to the Mongols,but Genghis Khan broke the agreement and executed him.The historical records differ,and the interpretation of these differences can reveal the background of the historical narrative of that day.By analyzing the records of the Westerm Xia in the main historical documents of the East and the West,we can observe that the Western Xia had different status and played different role in the eyes of the Mongols and the Han Chinese.
