The Selection of the Second Abbot of rTag nag Thub bstan rnam rgyal Monastery in Tibet During the Ming Dynasty

摘　　要：在明代西藏薩迦派的著名高憎、達那土登南傑寺的創建者兼首任住持果然巴·索南僧格的一本傳記中提到,在其圓寂後的次年即1490年領思奔寨首領頓珠多吉向新上任的住持工敦·旺秋珠巴頒布任職文書。本文以這一事件爲出發點,追溯了領思奔在15世紀向西擴張進程中與薩迦派的合作過程,考證了領思奔在選揮寺院新住持中發揮的重要作用,討論了領思奔所采納的家族與寺院相對疏離的政策及其影響。本文從地方區域史的角度,分析了明太祖朱元璋的“政教分離”、明成祖朱捸的“多封衆建”治藏政策在西藏產生的深遠影響,並撿視了明朝治藏政策在西藏地方的成效和西藏地方基層管理的狀況。In a biography of the prominent Sa skya master of the Ming Dynasty,Go bo Rab‘byams pa bSod nams seng ge,the founder and first abbot of the rTag nag Thub bstan rnam rgyal Monastery,it is noted that in 1490,the year following his passing,the head of Rin spungs pa family,Don grub rdo rje,appointed Kong ston dBang phyug grub pa to be the new abbot.Taking this event as a starting point,this paper traces the cooperative relationship between the Rin spungs pa polity and the Sa skya school during the 15th century in the context of Rin spungs pa's westward expansion.It examines the significant role of the Rin spungs pa leaders in selecting new abbots and discusses the policy preferred by Rin spungs pa:relative separation between the family and the monastery.From the perspective of regional history,this study also analyzes the far-reaching influence of Zhu Yuanzhang's'separation of religion and politics"and Emperor Yongle's"multiple appointment"policy in Tibet,assessing the effectiveness of Ming administration in Tibet and the local governance.
