摘　　要：山西太原府忻州侯氏宗族因笔误而长期被认为来自沂州。其于明初编入军户,经靖难之役起家,宣德间调福建漳州卫,世袭指挥同知,曾升任指挥使。其先后生擒通番海寇康启道,参与王守仁漳南平乱,追随戚继光抗倭,驰援毛文龙抗击后金,战功卓著。其名流辈出,文武兼备,牌坊林立,古迹闻名,参与修志,事迹散见史志记载,备受名人称道。其以孝道著称,未重男轻女,成为移风易俗的典范。其建设卫所有方,科甲联翩,与军户子弟关系密切。Due to a clerical error,the Hou family in Xinzhou,Taiyuan Prefecture,Shanxi has long been believed to be from Yizhou.He was incorporated into the military household in the early Ming Dynasty and rose to prominence after the Jingnan Campaign.They were transferred to the Zhangzhou Guards in Fujian in Xuande years and became a hereditary commander and Tongzhi,and was once promo-ted to the rank of commander.He successively captured pirate Kang Qidao alive,participated in Wang Shouren's efforts to quell the re-bellion in Zhangnan who colluded with foreign enemies,and followed Qi Jiguang in the fight against the Japanese,and rushed to aid Mao Wenlong in his fight against the Later Jin Dynasty.He had outstanding military exploits.It has many celebrities,both civil and military,has many archways,famous historical sites,participated in the compilation of chronicles,and its deeds are scattered in historical re-cords,and is highly praised by celebrities.He was famous for his filial piety and did not favor sons over daughters,becoming a model for changing customs.They well constructed Guarded,and good in imperial examinations,and had close relations with the children of mili-tary households.
