摘 要:随着全球价值链的国际产业转移从制造业向服务业延伸,服务外包的迅速崛起成为经济全球化的显著标志。服务外包对东道国城市的发展,尤其是在品牌创新的影响,变得更为重要。本文利用中国服务外包示范城市政策作为准自然实验,基于1999-2018年中国城市商标数据,采用多期差分模型检验服务价值链转移对城市品牌创新的影响。研究发现,服务外包政策显著提高了当地品牌商标申请量。机制分析表明,服务外包通过增强创新能力、促进知识产权服务中介发展和促进人才集聚来激励城市商标升级。此外,品牌文化氛围和对外开放水平越强的城市受政策影响的作用越明显。本文的研究结论表明,政府推动高水平对外开放,承接服务价值链转移,对城市品牌创新起着积极作用。As the international industrial transfer within the global value chain extends from the manufacturing sector to the service sector,the rapid rise of service outsourcing has become a prominent symbol of economic globalization.The impact of service outsourcing on the development of host country cities,especially on brand innovation,has become even more important.This paper uses the policy on China's service outsourcing demonstration cities as a quasi-natural experiment.Based on the trademark data of Chinese cities from 1999 to 2018,it adopts the multi-period difference-in-differences model to test the impact of the transfer of the service value chain on urban brand innovation.The research findings show that the service outsourcing policy has significantly increased the number of local brand trademark applications.The mechanism analysis indicates that service outsourcing stimulates the upgrading of urban trademarks by enhancing innovation capabilities,promoting the development of intellectual property service intermediaries and facilitating talent agglomeration.In addition,the stronger the brand cultural atmosphere and the level of opening up to the outside world in a city are,the more obvious the impact of the policy on it will be.The research conclusions of this paper suggest that the government's promotion of high-level opening up and its undertaking of the transfer of the service value chain play a positive role in urban brand innovation.
