劳动力回流能带动农村消费升级吗?——基于外出务工经历视角

摘　　要：从外出务工到返乡就业创业,农村劳动力就业模式正发生结构性变迁。基于外出务工经历视角,本文使用2014—2018年中国劳动力动态调查数据,实证考察了劳动力回流对农村消费升级的影响。研究发现:第一,外出务工经历对农村回流劳动力消费水平和结构升级均具有显著正向影响;第二,外出务工经历对农村回流劳动力消费升级存在代际差异,主要对第一代回流劳动力消费升级具有显著促进作用,但对新生代影响不显著;第三,外出务工经历可通过内部和外部“习惯形成”两条路径促进消费升级;第四,农村劳动力回流对一般村民消费具有正向扩散效应。本文为优化农村居民消费政策提供了可能的新视角,且为农村劳动力回流对回流地经济发展的相关研究提供了有益补充。From going out to work to returning home for employment and entrepreneurship,the employment pattern of the rural labor force is undergoing structural changes.From the perspective of migrant work experience,this paper empirically examines the impact of returning labor force on rural consumption upgrading by using data from the 2014—2018 China Labor-Force Dynamic Survey.It is found that:first,the migrant work experience has a significant positive impact on the consumption level and structural upgrading of returning rural labor force;second,there are intergenerational differences in the impact of migrant work experience on the consumption upgrading of the returning rural labor force,and this impact mainly has a significant effect on the first generation but has no significant effect on the new generation;third,the migrant work experience promotes consumption upgrading through internal and external“habit formation”paths;fourth,the return of rural labor force has a positive diffusion effect on the consumption of villagers in general.This paper provides possible new perspectives for optimizing the consumption policy of rural residents,and it also provides a useful supplement to the research on the return of rural labor force on the economic development of the place of return.
