摘　　要：文章从女性群体进入图书馆领域的时机,女性获取图书馆员职业身份的内外动因,占据职业多数的女性馆员对职业哲学的认同与践行,载入“图书馆名人堂”中的女性楷模四个方面,呈现现代图书馆员职业形成之初,社会性别视角下美国图书馆员职业化历程。图书馆员职业化包含女性化,对女性化的正向认知有待更多正面职业形象的阐述与呈现。By highlighting the timing of women’s entry into the library field,the internal and external motivations for women to acquire the professional identity of librarianship,the identification and practice of professional philosophies by female librarians who constitute the majority of the profession,and the female role models in the Library Hall of Fame,this paper presents the professionalization of librarianship in the United States from a gender perspective at the beginning of the modern library profession.The professionalization of librarianship involves feminization,and the positive perspective of feminization requires further elaboration and presentation of positive professional images.
