摘  要:生活书店出版的《世界文库》系20世纪30年代译介汇编中外名著的大型文学丛书,由著名作家、权威译者、知名学者供稿,打造了颇具特色的外国文学名著译介出版模式。其在译介推广时采用了“非文学”作品传播策略,将尼采的哲学篇什、比昂松的回忆录、华兹华斯的作品序言、兰姆的书信等“非文学”作品纳入出版范畴。这些“非文学”作品译介充实了《世界文库》的内涵,能够帮助读者更好地把握译作的结构、主题和意图,深入了解作家的思想脉络和创作动机,以及把握所读作品在文学史上的地位。在连接中国读者与文学经典的过程中,这些“非文学”作品发挥了重要的桥梁和纽带作用。在中华文化国际传播的背景下,这种“文学”与“非文学”融合译介模式也为中国文学“走出去”提供了新的思路。Life Bookstore s World Literature Library series,published in the 1930s,is a comprehensive collection of both Chinese and foreign literary classics contributed by renowned writers,translators and scholars,creating a unique model for introducing and translating foreign literary masterpieces.In its promoting the literary series,the bookstore employed a“non-literary”strategy by including such works as Nietzsche's philosophical essays,Bj rnson's memoirs,Wordsworth s preface,and Lamb s letters for publication.These non-literary translations enriched the World Literature Library series by providing readers with deeper insights into the structures,themes and intentions of the translated works,so the readers could have a more profound understanding of the authors thoughts and creative motivations,as well as the significance of these works in literary history.These works served as a vital link in bridging Chinese readers with literary classics.In the context of promoting Chinese culture internationally,Life s integrated translation approach of combining“literary”and“non-literary”works sheds a new light on the“going abroad”for Chinese literature.
