摘  要:Oceans contain abundant oil and gas resources,renewable energy,aquaculture resources and space resources.Floating marine structures are superior in terms of environmental friendliness,low cost,flexibility and mobility,which provide beneficial support for utilizing ocean spaces and exploiting ocean resources near reefs.Although floating structural technologies have been investigated and improved for more than three decades,the construction cost of floating platforms is still very high compared with the cost of conventional fixed platforms.Integrating floating platforms with wind turbines/wave energy converters/tidal power devices/photovoltaic modules can realize cost reduction,multi-functionality,and space sharing.Therefore,the multi-purpose platform is a promising“vaccine”to activate islands’immunity to expensive imported fossil fuel,helping to obtain clean and economical power as well as facilitating seafood export as a secondary income source.
