摘　　要：樊锦诗口述、顾春芳撰写、徐穆实翻译的《我心归处是敦煌》英译本于2014年由美国旧金山的长河出版社出版,全书共484页。樊院长在莫高窟工作生活了60多年,因此她的自传有强烈的时代烙印。樊院长在陈述个人经历的同时,也介绍了20世纪敦煌石窟考古与敦煌学领域的重要人物与重大事件、敦煌石窟保护与研究的成果,特别是敦煌石窟数字化以及建设敦煌莫高窟数字展示中心(游客中心)平衡莫高窟旅游需求和文物安全保护的重大举措,这对其他文化遗产的保护研究具有重要的借鉴和指导意义。The book Daughter of Dunhuang:Memoir of a Mogao Grottoes Researcher,told by Fan Jinshi,written by Gu Chunfang and translated into English by Bruce Humes,was published by Long River Press in San Francisco,USA in 2024.Director Fan worked in Dunhuang for nearly sixty years,and her 484-page autobiography bears the distinctive mark of the times she has lived through.Through the narration of Fan Jinshi’s own experiences,this biography introduces the main figures and significant events in the fields of Dunhuang cave archaeology and Dunhuang Studies research,as well as the recent initiatives to digitize the art and architecture of the Dunhuang Caves,and to construct a Visitor Center to open this important heritage site for general viewing.The wealth of experience and the comprehensive history of Dunhuang cultural heritage conservation contained in this biography provide important reference value for other cultural heritage sites,as well as a fascinating look into the world of contemporary Chinese archaeology.
