摘　　要：A 32-year-old male patient with gout presented to First Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University for the first time,complaining of intermittent knee and ankle pain for the past 4 years.The highest level of his serum uric acid(SUA)was 727μmol/L.He has been taking allopurinol and colchicine during gout attacks irregularly,without standard uric acid-lowering therapy(ULT).
