论环境史的“文化转向”对城市史研究的意义——以山地城市为例

摘　　要：文章以自然属性突出的山地城市为例,在城市史研究中考察自然环境与城市社会文化的互动史,为从社会文化层面进一步优化城市发展与自然的关系提供历史依据,而此类研究的方法论还可进一步发展。通过回顾人与自然关系的环境史研究的发展历程,指出将“文化转向”后的环境史研究模式引入城市史研究,有助于为自然环境与城市社会文化的互动史研究建立有针对性的分析框架,并以山地城市为例提出研究倡议:加强对山地旧城滨水区形态演进的关注;交叠运用环境史研究的社会分层分析与文化建构分析;加强对近现代和当代的关注。最后指出以城市空间营造为媒介考察自然环境与城市社会分层、城市文化建构的互动史,是建筑学领域的学者在城市史与环境史交叉研究中的优势与特色,且城市史与环境史交叉研究对于非山地城市的历史研究而言同样有应用潜力。Taking mountainous cities with prominent natural attributes as an example,examining the history of interaction between the natural environment and urban society and culture in urban history research can provide a historical basis for further optimizing the relationship between urban development and nature at the socio-cultural level,and the methodology of such research can be further developed.By reviewing the development of environmental history research focusing on the relationship between human beings and nature,it is pointed out that the introduction of the environmental history research mode after the“cultural turn”into the study of urban history can help to establish a targeted analytical framework for the study on the history of interaction between the natural environment and urban society and culture.In the case of mountain cities,research initiatives are proposed to pay more attention to the morphological evolution of the old mountain city waterfront,to overlap the social stratification and cultural construction analyses of environmental history research,and to pay more attention to the modern and contemporary times.Finally,it is pointed out that examining the interaction between the natural environment and the social stratification and cultural construction of cities through the medium of urban space creation is the advantage and specialty of scholars in the field of architecture in the cross-study of urban and environmental history,and that the cross-study of urban and environmental history also has potential for the study on the history of non-mountainous cities.
