摘 要:1.Introduction Personal Rapid Transit(PRT)holds promise as a future urban mobility solution, offering the potential to ease urban congestion and enhance the overall transportation experience.PRT is an automated transit system which offers a highly efficient and convenient solution where passengers can enjoy on-demand,non-stop travel to their desired destinations. This innovative automated transit system utilizes dedicated vehicles operating on their own right-of-way,and it eliminates the need for fixed schedules and transfers, offering a user experience similar to hailing a taxi.Regarding the operations of the PRT system, passengers at the PRT station first select their preferred destination station.Subsequently,a PRT vehicle is promptly dispatched to the station to transport these passengers to their desired destination. The PRT stations are isolated from the main through-lanes,allowing PRT vehicles to accelerate and decelerate independently without interfering with the flow of other vehicles.Currently,PRT vehicles typically utilize electric power and are operated through computer control, eliminating the need for human drivers. These vehicles typically have a capacity ranging from three to six passengers.PRT vehicles exclusively travel on specially designed tracks referred to as guideways, which are designed to eliminate at-grade crossings or conflict with other transportation modes.
