摘　　要：张謇和吴佩孚均是近代中国的重要人物,在中国近代影响深远。二人交往始于1918年南北对峙时期,对和平统一的共同追求是他们开启交往的媒介,并推动二人关系逐渐深入。随着时局的变化发展,二人曾数次就政局形势、经济社会交换意见,保持较为密切的友好关系。总的来看,张謇与吴佩孚的交往早已超越了个人私谊的范畴,更多以国家或集体利益为主;二人关系的亲疏远近随着时局变化以及个人地位的浮沉而不断变化。ZHANG Jian and WU Peifu were both significant figures in modern China,profoundly impacting society in that era.Their common pursuit of peaceful reunification not only encouraged the commencing of their relationship in 1918,when the Beiyang government and the South-based government were in confrontation,but also deepened their interactions.In the face of the constant changing political situation,they exchanged their views on political,economic and social issues multiple times,maintaining a relatively close and friendly relationship.Overall,ZHANG Jian’s connection with WU Peifu had long gone beyond personal friendship but more focused on national or collective interests instead.Their closeness varied in response to the shifting political situation and their respective social standing.
