摘　　要：南洋协会是近代日本经营南洋首屈一指的官民协作组织。它既是日本对南经济扩张的先锋,亦是日本对南武力侵略的重要宣传、咨询机构。自1915年成立至1938年改组前,南洋协会在“台湾总督府”、日本农商务省和外务部的支持与监督下,为日本在南洋的经济扩张提供先遣情报,并进行宣传鼓动、培养开拓南洋人才等活动。随着日本对南政策从经济“南进”向武力侵略转变,1938年改组后的南洋协会也从半官半民的组织转为日本外务部下辖行政组织,公开宣扬“大东亚共荣圈论”,炮制“大南洋共荣体制”,并为日本占领南洋提供建议对策。In modern times,the Nanyang Association was the leading government civilian cooperation organization in Japan's management of Southeast Asia.It was not only the pioneer of Japan's economic expansion in the Southeast Asia,but also an important propaganda and consulting institution for Japan's military aggression against the Southeast Asia.From 1915 to 1938,under the support and supervision of the Taiwan Governor-General's Office,the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture and Commerce,and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,the Nanyang Association provided advance intelligence for Japan's economic expansion in Southeast Asia,and carried out activities such as propaganda,encouragement,and training of talents to explore Southeast Asia.As Japan's Southeast Asian policy shifted from economic"southward expansion"to military aggression,the reorganized Nanyang Association in 1938 became an administrative organization under the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.It openly promoted the"Greater East Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere,"fabricated the"Greater Southeast Asian Co-Prosperity System,"and provided suggestions and countermeasures for Japan's occupation of SoutheastAsia.
