摘　　要：Guangzhou,the capital of Guangdong Province,is a historic and modern trade hub.With 127.6 million residents in its surrounding province as of 2023,the cit/s trading significance dates back to the Qianlong Emperor’s 1759"Canton System,’which restricted foreign trade to the Pearl River Delta.In recent years,this long-standing prominence was solidified by hosting China's largest trade fair,the Canton Fair,held twice annually since 1957.
