摘　　要：Vitamin D deficiency(VDD)has emerged as a major nutritional problem among children and adolescents.Numerous studies have documented the adverse health effects of VDD,including conditions such as chronic kidney diseases,hypoparathyroidism,and autoimmune diseases.Nevertheless,these studies were conducted only in adults and among individuals with underlying medical conditions.Adolescence is at a unique stage of growth,where nutritional deficiencies may have profound implications on their future health.Thus,there is an urgent need to conduct research on the impact of vitamin D deficiency on adolescent health.
