自然老化对CF/PA66复合材料力学性能的影响

摘  要:目前,对纤维增强聚酰胺复合材料老化行为的研究主要集中在人工加速老化法,利用自然老化法研究纤维增强聚酰胺复合材料老化行为的文献相对较少。为研究纤维增强聚酰胺复合材料在上海地区的自然老化,以短碳纤维增强聚酰胺66(CF/PA66)注塑粒子为原材料,通过注射成型得到CF/PA66拉伸样条。在上海地区将CF/PA66拉伸样条静置于室内进行为期36个月的自然老化试验。通过对自然老化前后的CF/PA66进行拉伸、弯曲测试并观察拉伸断口形貌,分析自然老化对CF/PA66力学性能、破坏模式及破坏机理的影响。结果表明,经过36个月的自然老化,PA66发生降解,表面发白且出现了粉化现象;CF/PA66复合材料的拉伸强度、拉伸弹性模量、弯曲强度、弯曲模量的保留率分别为77.27%,85.59%,92.18%和91.03%,自然老化后复合材料的弯曲强度、弯曲模量的保留率均高于拉伸强度、拉伸弹性模量的保留率;自然老化并未改变CF/PA66的拉伸破坏失效模式、拉伸破坏机理及弯曲破坏机理。但由于自然老化后CF/PA66的韧性增加,使得其弯曲破坏失效模式由断裂变为受拉区域出现裂纹。At present,the research on the aging behavior of fiber-reinforced polyamide composites mainly focuses on artificial accelerated aging method,and there are relatively few literatures on the aging behavior of fiber-reinforced polyamide composites using natural aging method.In order to study the natural aging of fiber reinforced polyamide composites in Shanghai area,short carbon fiber reinforced polyamide 66(CF/PA66)injection particles were used as raw materials to prepare CF/PA66 tensile splines by injection molding.CF/PA66 tensile splines were placed indoors for 36 months of natural aging test in Shanghai.The effects of natural aging on the mechanical properties,failure mode and failure mechanism of CF/PA66 were analyzed by tensile and bending tests and observation of tensile fracture morphology of CF/PA66 before and after natural aging.The results show that PA66 degrads,and the surface becomes white and powdered after 36 months of natural aging.The retention rates of tensile strength,tensile modulus,bending strength and bending modulus of CF/PA66 composites are 77.27%,85.59%,92.18% and 91.03%,respectively.The retention rates of bending strength and bending modulus after natural aging are higher than those of tensile strength and tensile modulus.Natural aging does not change the tensile failure mode,fracture mechanism,or bending failure mechanism of CF/PA66.However,due to the increas,ed toughness of CF/PA66 after natural aging,the bending failure mode of CF/PA66 changes from fracture to crack in the tension region.
